The 2024 edition of the New Technology Venture Accelerator (NETVA) proudly announces its cohort of 16 innovative French Deeptech startups, carefully selected to participate in this prestigious program facilitated by the Office for Science and Technology of the Embassy of France in the United States. Designed to foster technological partnerships and expand international horizons, NETVA serves as a launchpad for groundbreaking ventures. Among this year's exceptional lineup, two standout laureates hail from the Chicago Greater area, poised to make significant strides in their entrepreneurial journey.
- AgroDynaLux (Haute-Vienne 87) seeks to change agriculture by balancing efficacy, profitability, and sustainability; it proposes innovative herbicide products aiming to maintain efficiency while reducing environmental impact, by activating photosensitizers with sunlight, allowing selective weed destruction without harming crops.
- Spore.Bio (Hauts-de-Seine 92) proposes a pathogen detection device for food & beverage products using advanced optical and deep learning technologies; the device combines fluorescence and reflectance illuminations, to quantify on-the-spot bacterial presence down to the single-cell level.
